Light Fleur Main Plate

This beautiful round Tobe ware plate features a wreath of beautiful flowers in gentle hues of green and light blue. 

Subtle colors decorate the blooming flowers painted on a white porcelain canvas. Small dots painted in gold are scattered, adding a discreet accent to the overall design. 

Higashi Kiln employs a unique technique called washi-zome. Colors and designs are added to the unglazed surfaces using Japanese washi paper. This technique gives a watercolor-like softness to the floral patterns which creates a pleasant atmosphere at the table. 

The plate has a diameter of 24.5 cm (9.7 in) and is perfect for serving main dishes, and large salads. The curved sides gives slight depth to the plate and allows you to serve up meals that are accompanied with sauces or soups.
